This year, Leaders Meeting Paris will address the concerns that young people are expressing en masse today. That\u2019s why the networking event\u2019s eleventh edition will be looking for answers to the question of how the leaders of today can ensure a better, healthier, more sustainable world for the next generation. The event will bring together 200 Belgian leaders to discuss the topic of \u201cThe Next Gen\u201d on 8, 9, and 10 November.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

The leaders of tomorrow are challenging the leaders of today. Sixteen-year-old Swede Greta Thunberg was the first to begin skipping school for the climate, inspiring young people all over the world, including Anuna De Wever and Kyra Gantois in Belgium. They demand that policymakers assume their responsibility in order to guarantee a better, healthier, more sustainable world for the next generation. Bepublic, the organization behind Leaders Meeting Paris<\/strong>, is also inspired by these young people’s concerns. That’s why the eleventh edition of their networking event will revolve around the topic of the next generation (“The Next Gen”).<\/p>\n\n

The next generation is faced with an incredible number of questions and wants to give the leaders of today a hefty wake-up call. Where do experienced policymakers stand with regard to the ideals of this young, inexperienced generation? About more than just climate<\/strong><\/h3><\/h3>\n\n

The networking event doesn’t want to limit the topic to a climate debate. Featuring about 200 guests from the economic, social, political, academic, and cultural sectors, Leaders Meeting Paris<\/strong> is looking to establish a broad outlook on the future of the next generation. To achieve that, it’s calling on keynote speakers from a range of industries. Alain Dehaze, CEO of international temp staffing firm The Adecco Group, is the first confirmed name.<\/p>\n\n
