Sara Vercauteren and Anja Peleman, Managing Directors of PR agency Bepublic Group, recently announced that they are passing the torch. Today, February 17, their successor has been announced. As of Monday, April 7, 2025, Liesbeth Pyck will take over the role of Managing Director. Bepublic Group is an independent PR and strategic communications agency within Mediafin, guiding over 100 organizations and companies in journalistic PR, strategic communication, and crisis communication.
Liesbeth Pyck is deeply rooted in the PR world. After studying Communication Sciences at VUB, she started her career in 2006 at PR agency Porter Novelli. She then worked for five years as a PR manager at Famous before founding and leading Famous Relations. During that period, Pyck also became a board member of ACC, the trade association for Belgian communication agencies. In 2020, she transitioned to TBWA Reputation as Brand Reputation Director. In 2022, Pyck left the PR sector to become Head of Marketing & Communications at Nobi Smart Lamps. She is now trading that role for a leadership position at Bepublic Group, marking her return to her natural habitat.
