Bepublic Group nominated six times for Best of Reputation Awards with PR campaigns for Decathlon, Stop Darmkanker vzw, Schoenen Torfs and Striktly

Bepublic Group has been nominated six times for the second edition of the Best of Reputation Awards (BORAs) with PR communications for Decathlon, Stop Darmkanker vzw, Schoenen Torfs and Striktly which Bepublic Group has realised over the past year and a half. The BORAs award the best PR stories in terms of earned media and influencer relations in different categories. The winners will be announced on 15 November 2023. Bepublic Group, a Brussels PR and strategic communications agency won two gold and one bronze BORA at the first edition last year.

For Decathlon, Bepublic Group is nominated in two categories: ‘Integrated PR: Best multi-platform campaign’ and ‘Corporate campaigns: Environmental Social Engagement’, and this for the nohltaceD communication campaign, with which the sports retail chain wanted to highlight its second-hand sales. For this campaign, Bepublic Group joined forces with Bonka Circus and Influo. To top it off, the three agencies’ integrated communication approach also got them a nomination for the Effie Awards.

In the categories ‘Earned media: Best mono-brand campaign’ and ‘Special campaigns: Cause/charity/non-profit’, Bepublic Group has been nominated for supporting Stop Darmkanker vzw’s awareness campaign around free bowel cancer tests.

Furthermore, Bepublic Group is nominated in the ‘Corporate campaigns: CEO positioning & Thought Leadership’ category with Schoenen Torfs and Striktly. On the one hand with their communication approach around the torch transfer from CEO Wouter Torfs to Lise Conix at Schoenen Torfs and on the other hand with the positioning of CEO Stéphanie Ouachan of Striktly.

Bepublic Group won two gold and one bronze award at the first edition of the BORAs last year. With Telenet, Bepublic Group cashed in a gold award in the ‘Corporate campaigns: Stakeholder relations’ category and a bronze BORA in the ‘Corporate Campaigns: Issue Management and crisis communication’ category for their communication around the new TV advertising model. With a communication campaign to find 700 new referees for the Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA), Bepublic Group won a second gold BORA in the category ‘Earned media (earned press + unpaid influencers): Best mono-brand Campaign’.

There were 59 entries for the second edition of the BORAs. 29 of these were shortlisted. Twelve judges assessed all the cases. The nominated agencies have a chance to win a gold, silver or bronze BORA. The Best of Reputation Awards are an initiative of ACC, the professional association of communication agencies and C Square.
