PR and strategic communications agency Bepublic Group has been nominated for the ‘PRWA Excellence Award 2024’ for its PR campaigns for French sportswear company Decathlon. Each year, this international award honours a PR agency for an exceptional campaign which can inspire others in the communications sector around the world. Bepublic Group is one of four agencies invited to present their case before a jury. The winner will be announced on 25 May 2024.

PRWA is an international network that connects PR agencies from around the globe. Each year, the PRWA highlights one agency with a strong PR case that can inspire others in the communications sector. From entries from all over the world, an expert jury selected four exceptional PR campaigns to go through to the next round. Besides Bepublic Group, Marcommit (Netherlands), NBS Communications (Poland) and Aim Communication (Italy) are also nominated.

Bepublic Group convinced the jury with the Nohltaced communication campaign for Decathlon, with which the sports store chain wanted to raise awareness of its second-hand sales. For this campaign, Bepublic Group already won a bronze and a silver “Best Of Reputation Award” (BORA) last year in the categories ‘Integrated PR: Best multi-platform campaign’ and ‘Corporate campaigns: Environmental Social Engagement’. This campaign also won a silver Effie award. Bepublic Group collaborated with Bonka Circus and Influo for this campaign.

The four nominated agencies will present their cases to the jury on 25 May 2024, after which the winner will be announced.
