Our offer

Brand Story

A successful company is more than just the product it sells. First and foremost, it is a strong brand with a compelling story about its origins which resonates with customers, the media, investors, partners, and even governments. This workshop focuses on:

  • the essence of the brand;
  • the unique story that makes the difference;
  • a clear and powerful way to tell that story to the press, investors, and customers.

After this session, you will have a brand story that sticks and that will open doors.

Media training

Journalists think and work in their own unique way. This workshop will clarify:

  • which stories are newsworthy;
  • how editorial offices function;
  • how a company can articulate its own story clearly and successfully pitch it to the media.

Afterwards, the team will be better equipped to deal with journalists.

Camera training

Speaking in front of the camera takes more than just content.
Here, you can practice how to:

  • communicate clearly and credibly;
  • manage nonverbal signals;
  • parry difficult questions.

The training uses realistic scenarios, with cameras and personal feedback. This helps the spokesperson stay in control of every interview.

Crisis communication

Whether it’s a data breach, a cyber incident, or a dissatisfied customer, they are all situations that keep entrepreneurs awake at night. As a business leader or spokesperson, how do you deal with such a crisis without damaging your reputation? How do you communicate quickly, clearly, and strategically to the media, customers, and partners?

In this workshop:

  • we provide insights into various recognizable risk situations;
  • we explain which messages should or should not be shared;
  • we discuss which channels should be used for quick and thoughtful communication
  • and how you can know immediately what to do in times of crisis with the help of the right PR partner.

Using realistic scenarios, during this workshop teams practice quick, strategic communication to enable them to act thoughtfully in a real crisis.

Public Speaking

Whether it’s a pitch to investors or a keynote speech at an event: speaking is about persuading.

This training offers:

  • techniques on how to focus key messages;
  • tips on how to structure presentations in a dynamic way;
  • insights into the use of voice, body language, as well as breathing techniques to keep the audience engaged

Perfect to make an impact and gain trust.

Third Party Endorsement

A company’s credibility increases when others speak positively about the brand.

This workshop covers:

  • how external voices (customers, experts, influencers) get involved;
  • how these ambassadors help to reinforce the story;
  • methods for strategically utilising them in communication.

This way, the story grows beyond the company’s own channels.

Thought Leadership

To differentiate itself, a company can position itself as being an expert in the sector. In this workshop:

  • we work on a clear vision and substantive positions;
  • themes are identified on which the company can make a difference;
  • a plan is drawn up to showcase that expertise through media and events.

This is how a brand builds its reputation and trust.

International PR

Growth doesn’t stop at national borders. This session focuses on:

  • setting up international PR networks;
  • selecting local partners and agencies;
  • strategies on how to build thought leadership in foreign markets such as the US or UK.

An ideal workshop for start-ups with international ambitions.

Social Media & Own Channels

Strong earned media should not go to waste. Here, companies can learn how to leverage it and:

  • how media content gets a second life through social media;
  • how proprietary channels can be used for effective storytelling;
  • which formats work best for your audience.

This way, every type of media attention is used to its full potential.

CEO Positioning

The founder or chief executive officer is often the face of the organisation. This workshop focuses on:

  • developing an authentic and credible personal narrative;
  • discussing social issues from a personal perspective;
  • profiling the CEO as a media-savvy and recognised leader.

If so desired, advice on visual presentation can also be provided, with the help of a stylist and photographer.

  • how to create stories that the media just can’t ignore;
  • practical tips and tools to get immediate results;

  • concept and script development;
  • recording and editing;
  • smart use of podcast content on social media.

Liesbeth Pyck

Managing Director BePublic Group

Liesbeth Pyck is Managing Director of BePublic Group and has over 20 years of experience in PR, reputation management and strategic communication. She has worked for the international PR agency Porter Novelli, among others, and founded her own successful agency, Famous Relations, in 2015.

She also has a passion for the startup world. As Head of Marketing at the Belgian AI scale-up Nobi (smart lamps for seniors), Liesbeth played a key role in the international growth of this AgeTech company. Under her wing, Nobi grew into a brand active in 22 countries in just three years. Liesbeth built the brand and reputation strategy from scratch, including all international PR activities. With experience on both sides of the table – as a communications expert and from the heart of a scaleup – Liesbeth knows exactly what young companies are facing. She knows the art of telling a story that convinces investors, media and customers.

“Startups often hold gold in their hands, but sometimes struggle to tell that story successfully. I notice that young players are often too cautious or too modest in how they present themselves. Together with the BeReady team, I am happy to use my experience to turn a compelling idea into a compelling story — a story that resonates with the media, investors, partners and customers.”

Hannelore Schmid

Senior PR Consultant & Director BeReady

With a background in Public Relations and over ten years of experience in the trade, Hannelore helps companies tell their story in a powerful and impactful way. After starting her career as a PR professional in the international automotive sector, she has now been working at BePublic Group for seven years.

Hannelore lives and breathes PR. Her passion lies in discovering compelling stories – especially in the world of startups and scaleups, where innovation and entrepreneurship often move faster than communication.

She believes that strong PR is a lever: it allows objective voices to put your company on the radar and creates credibility that no marketing budget can buy. That is why she enjoys working with entrepreneurs and teams who not only want to tell their story, but also want to grow it sustainably.

“I often notice that many young companies believe that one interview is enough to ‘get them going”. However, successful PR requires a long-term strategic approach and the right mix of channels. Whenever I hear an entrepreneur enthusiastically telling his or her story, I think, ’You have got to do something with this’. Adding the right flavour to those impactful stories and mapping out a strategic communication plan for these entrepreneurs is what energises me.”
